CMT DISCOVERY ARTIST BRIAN COLLINS ANNOUNCES INSPIRING NEW RELEASE

'SHINE A LITTLE LOVE'

A truly wonderful feel-good song that will capture hearts, cascade glittery rays of light upon the fractured world in which we currently live and remind us that during these uncertain and frightening times,

"We're all in this together"

Radiating a true southern soul and with genuine sincerity dripping from every word that he sings, Brian launches into the chorus in a way that instantly lifts the mood, instills optimism and makes the soul shine!

We defy anyone who doesn't smile and tap their feet when they hear 'Shine a Little Love' - a song that perhaps could be a much needed anthem for hope...

Let's all come together, sing out loud and shine a little love!

ABOUT BRIAN COLLINS

As his genuinely southern sound suggests, Brian Collins was born and raised in West Georgia.  The soulful quality of his voice give meaningful expression to songs that bend the lines of genre between Americana, Country, Southern Rock and Blue-Eyed Soul.

However the depth of his writing and the broadness of his perspective attest to his worldliness, as Brian is just as much a traveler as he is a small town, southern boy.

Being a talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with endorsements from Taylor Guitars and Lee Oskar Harmonicas, he has shared stages with Zac Brown Band, Kip Moore, Billy Dean, Blackberry Smoke, Matt Stillwell, Marshall Tucker, KISS and Lynyrd Skynyrd, among others.

With music running through his veins and a genuine love for community spirit, he is the driving force behind many projects such as his own music festival 'SALLFest' which has just celebrated its fifth year.

In the US, Brian's music has celebrated national media recognition including 7 weeks at number one on CMT's Pure Pack and participating in the 49th and 50th annual CMA Awards.

Over the years Brian has recorded with many notable musicians including Charles Kelly from Lady Antebellum, Clay Cook, John Driskell Hopkins and Daniel De Los Reyes from the Zac Brown Band, all of whom feature on his new EP 'Good Things' which as the name suggests is packed with feel-good tracks just in time for the summer!

PRESS Brian Collins "Shine A Little Love" shines bright on KBOE!  It sounds and reacts like a major label record.  Brian sings with a passion that stands out on the radio.   Steve Shettler - KBOE, Oskaloosa, Iowa "Brian Collins sings with the same soul, power and passion as James Otto; in fact, it's difficult to tell them apart. A can't miss artist in my book.” Keith Huotari - OM/PD - WJNR FM, Iron Mountain, MI "An outstanding singer/songwriter whose songs are full of substance.  This is country and country needs someone like Brian to be heard by the fans.” Joby Phillips - Program Director - 94-5 The Moose - WCEN-FM, Saginaw, MI "Based on listener response, Brian Collins is headed to the top ten with this one.  Great response to a tremendously well written, well sung and well produced song.  "Shine" your music spotlight on this one and you'll understand why this song needs "a little love" from your station." Mike Thomas - KWRE/KFAV Radio, Warrenton, MO  “This Georgia boy has a confident, ultra-youthful, splendidly airy, superbly listenable country-rock approach that is just about irresistible, dynamic and driving.” Robert K. Oermann “Not only one of the best independent artists, one of the best artists period, that we are playing, great song, great album!” Scott Schuler, KRKT/Albany, OR “Collins is truly a multi-talented artist. Not only is his voice suited for many different melodies, he’s also a very talented songwriter and producer.” Kristen Diotte - CM Chat Live “Take elements of Eli Young Band, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen and Marc Broussard, and the results point the way toward Brian Collins.” Bob Doerschuk

“The sound the husky-voiced singer generates in his music is a cross-breed of country and soul, soulfully down-home, current and nostalgic, hip and retro all at the same time. Collins’ is a sound that is one-of-a-kind, easy on the ears, speaking to the heart.” Linda Brewer - AXS.com
