SINGLE REVIEW: JESSICA CLEMONS - CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY

Jessica Clemmon's love affair with the UK continues, having built up a following with 2 different versions of her backing group the Bandits - she promises to return to live activity in the UK next May to support a new Jess & The Bandits album.

In the meantime her contribution to Christmas 2022 is a slick cover of Thomas Rhett's "Christmas In The Country" and it is really rather good. A little more soulful and less poppy than the original it accentuates all the strengths that Jess has in her armoury - a welcome addition to any Christmas playlist
