Undoubtedly one of the stars of C2C 2023 were Tigirlily Gold, so good in fact that when #TEAMw21 bumped into them just wandering around about to leave the O2, we had to make a beeline towards them to say just how good they had been - where they were truly gracious and thankful and outrageously charming.
The 12 months in between have seen the songs premiered during those performances "Shoot Tequila" and "I Tried Ring On" released and their rewards in 2024 are a slot on the Main stage on Friday as well as the Saturday / Sunday All Bar One / Indigo combination that worked so well for a relatively unknown Lainey Wilson some years earlier.- who has since gone on to light up the country world. Could history come calling twice?
Well quite possibly yes! They were fantastically good company last time round, musically brilliant and hilariously funny and we expect nothing less this time. Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh the sisters that make up Tigirlily Gold had the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands and have caused the word of mouth that we predicted - the term we coined in fact was the "Tigirlily Goldrush!"
We've yet to hear all of the songs they previewed last year, "Stupid Prizes" is one that springs to mind and in the intervening year they are bound to have written many more
They are so good we'd even recommend leaving Brad Paisley early to ensure your place at All Bar One!
