NEWS: ROSE'S PAWN SHOP UK TOUR

Having spent much of this week listening to Rose's Pawn Shop, it would be remiss not to let you know that this wonderful band are playing across the UK in a string of shows including playing at The Maverick Festival.

The official blurb says "Rose’s Pawn Shop makes Americana-Folk-Rock music inflected with the pulsing, vibrant energy of their hometown Los Angeles, interwoven with strains of old-time Appalachian folk, country, and bluegrass, and infused with poetic lyrics gleaned from hard lessons learned and years on the road."

They are a delightful mix of genres, all of which the cover with come some aplomb - personally we fell for "Going Out In The Wild" which has touches of Fountains Of Wayne, & The Divine Comedy with a touch of Michael Weston King of My Darling Clementine but on all tracks there are great harmonies with fiddles a plenty.. With the London show adding in Shea Rafferty as support - a good time is all but guaranteed.
